Questions you should ask yourself when comparing us to the other small hotels:

1.-Security

Are they located on a street that’s safe, well-lite at night and close to “El Conde Boulevard”?  At ADAM the answer is YES! The closer to “El Conde” more 24/7 police presence in the area. Our hotel is basically steps from “El Conde” on a parallel street. Additionally, we have our very own around the clock security guard (even thou we are in safe area).

2.- Rooms

Are the rooms clean, airy, spacious, well-appointed and with a high ceiling? At ADAM the answer is YES! Believe us when we tell you that this is a very important question to ask. In Santo Domingo some small hotels may offer you a better “deal” but when you arrive you are booked into a tiny room with a very low ceiling- Do you want to feel like cramped? Ask to see actual pictures of the room you are booking and not of similar one! If they don’t have it. Be concerned and move on! At ADAM we showcase each room with pictures and video so you can tour the room prior your arrival.

3.- Water Quality

Do they offer a water filtration system for your drinks? They better do! In the Dominican Republic tap water is not potable meaning drinkable. Additionally, ask if they have an in-house Water Reservoir with plenty 24/7 water supply or an in-house powerful electric plant to use in case of a power outage. At ADAM the answer is YES to all of the above.

4.- Services

Are they offering other services to their guests that are more than just lodging? Do they offer personalized dinners cooked just for you? AT ADAM the answer is YES!

5.- Tours

What about an in-house tour guide specializing on the colonial zone? Can they help/refer/book a short day trip for you? What about restaurant referrals and bookings? Do they offer concierge services free of charge? Most don’t even offer them. At ADAM we DO!

6.- Activities

What about in-house programed cultural activities? Do they offer salsa and merengue classes? At ADAM we DO!

7.- Beauty Services

Do they have massage and/or beauty services? Do they offer manicure/pedicure services too? They probably will say NO. But, guess what! At ADAM we DO!

8.- Private Nightclub

Do they have a nightclub/lounge are in the hotel? For sure the answer is NO! Most small hotel in the colonial zone does not have the space for it. But our answer to you is Yes! At ADAM we DO! Not only do we have a nightclub but also an open terrace on our roof with a pool area.

9.- TV & Internet

Do they have cable-TV; WI-FI internet access, laundry, taxi and airport pick up services? If they don’t, move on and book your stay with us! At ADAM we DO! We offer all of the above!

10.- Owner Supervision

Finally, does the owner personally supervise the operation? At ADAM the answer is YES! If you need to talk to someone “the boss” is there for you!. At ADAM the owner goes the extra mile to offer the best service. He’ll great you upon your arrival. If needed, he’ll advise you on what to do, where to go and on how to better use your time while in Santo Domingo. He may even cook for you one night if you choose to have an in-house “personalized” dinner or he may prepare a delicious Cuban mojito drink just for you.
